NMT Dining DelightFul Event: A Chartwells Ode to Kindness

Some might call February the month of love given that one holiday, “Vaylenteen’s??” I don’t know. What I do know is that Chartwells Higher Education and the on-campus dining team are pairing up to make this week all about thoughtfulness and spreading kindness to those around you.
The weeklong DelightFul event is a celebration of random acts of kindness that is being upheld by colleges all over the country. Daniel Leatherman, the General Manager of NMT Dining, described the event as, “...a wonderful moment to express gratitude and show kindness to each other. During DelightFul, students will have the ability to spread kindness throughout their peers and community, as well as take some time to treat themselves.”
The DelightFul event will culminate with an all day event on Wednesday, February 15th. Ariana Bustos, Director of the Student Activity Body (SAB) and NMT Dining Marketing Manager, explains that “students can join in on the Giveaway of Kindness, as well as several other activities, like donation boxes, letters of kindness, and a happy thoughts board.”

* Where: Fidel Center, New Mexico Tech. 801 Leroy Pl.
* Why: Celebrate, carry out, and encourage acts of kindness across the country
